The objective of this study was to demonstrate the use of the Solver (Excel) supplement to project the quantity to be produced in order to optimize the monthly result in the context of an agricultural implements factory, considering the restriction of production capacity of PEUs per month. The methodology used can be classified as descriptive, with a quantitative approach and in the format of a case study. The literature review addressed concepts inherent to Linear Programming, Solver and the PEU method. Subsequently, the data necessary for the application of Solver to solve the study question were listed and the resulting results were listed. The final part presents the conclusions arising from the finding that the combination of Solver with the PEU Method is relevant to identify the mix to produce/sell that would optimize the result of the researched company, facilitating simulations and production scheduling in this sense. With this, the research contributes to presenting an unprecedented joint practical application of Solver and the PEU Method.
