ANALYSIS OF TRANSACTION COSTS IN SOYBEAN PRODUCTION IN THE CITY OF IRATI-PARANÁ

Abstract

The objective of this study was to analyze the perception of soybean producers in the region of Irati-PR, regarding the transactional costs that occur in production. The study was carried out with soybean producers in the municipality of Irati-PR and region. The research is characterized as descriptive, bibliographic, data collection and quantitative. The main results found indicate that the investigated soybean producers are more attentive to transaction costs. It is noted that farmers identified the failure in the lack of equality of information at the time of negotiation, generating doubts about the rights and duties of both parties in a contract and, consequently, the occurrence of opportunism.
