The Role of the Choice of Coordination Mechanism on Performance in Pernambuco’s Poultry Supply Chain

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to verify the role of coordination mechanism choice on performance in Pernambucos poultry supply chain. Thirty eight interviews were conducted with poultry producers, who act in the supply chain through different coordination mechanism, developing activities regarding chicken production. The results show that the coordination choice has some influence on the performance of Pernambucos poultry supply chain producers.
